Tai’s practice explores the relationship between objects, space, and everyday life. Through installation, painting objects, and found materials, he treats artworks not as images but as spatial entities, emphasizing perception, arrangement, and the exhibition as an active, evolving process.

Deeply captivated by the black-and-white photographs in the Magritte book and his "painting within a painting" works, the artist was drawn to how Magritte often depicted layered images within a single composition. These works invite viewers to interpret painting as an illusion rather than reality.
